About this event

In a monthly series of screenings we will be tackling issues that are impacting us globally and discovering how we can fight against them locally. The film series runs February to June, inclusive.

REEL RESISTANCE Tuesday, May 31, 6pm - 8pm VIU Campus, Nanaimo, Building 200, Room 203

Join us as we wrap up Asian Heritage Month with a screening of thought-provoking short films followed by a lively panel discussion on anti-Asian racism and a spectrum of perspectives and reflections on what it means to be anti-racist Asians and allies.

Admission is free, in person or virtual

Free snacks will be provided

In-person attendees will be entered into a draw for door prizes (anti-racism books!)
