These charming little paintings are quick and deceivingly easy to do as the ink line drawing forgives many errors in the watercolour painting making this method relaxing and stress free. Useful for sketching on location or painting in the comfort of your home using reference photos.

We will begin with choosing a good composition and some simple exercises in watercolour to understand how the paint works with water on paper.  For the rest of the class we will be working on small paintings with ink embellishments for definition and effect.  We will paint at least one landscape or subject of your choice.
